Are Skull Candies any good?

I have a pair of their little ones you just put in your head, not the full out head phones. They're usually good quality from what i hear, i like mine

They're just alright. Ive gone through multiple pairs of them and the longest any have lasted are 6 months. IMHO Id go withsennheiser and blow a couple more bucks for way way better quality.

They have never lasted me more than six months. After four pairs of headphones I have given up on this company.

skullcrushers are nice, but the headphone jack WILL break, when it did on mine, I cut it off and soldered on a new one, and they work great now!

Get real headphones man. You can probably get sonys or something for the same price and they won't sound like shit or break.

I like them. I have the hesh over, the salomon icons and the inkd buds. They are decent quality for skiing and stuff. Atleast for me they are. I keep gettif them because if there awsome warranty.

I. FUCKING. LOVE. SKULL. CANDIES.

Like everyone else said, they've got durability issues. I bought some skullcrushers a while back and they hardly lasted 6 months. I really liked them while they lasted though. Just about a month ago I bought another pair of skullcrushers from tramdock or steepandcheap because they were only $17. From now on I will only buy them if they are that cheap, because they don't last at all.

I love my Icons, but not for their quality. Mine are really durable and I just fuck around with them. I have my Ultrasone's for real listening.

mine have lasted a while, i got icons, there good to ski with, the quality is alright not great but, im not gunna complain they were only 16 bucks

not to thread jack but my friend is selling his brand new beats buds for $40 should i get them or is there other headphones better with the same price

try thesehttp://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666169334

i trust sony more than skullcandy any day.

They sick. + if you break them =, even on purpose, you get 50% off the price of the headphones in credit

If you want crappy sounding headphones that sound like they are packed with mud, then buy skull candy.

Yeah there sick and you get a lifetime warranty which is dope
from what i hear the ear buds are nothing to special but i have the lowriders and there sick

noooo! they've got decent sound quality but the durability is crap. its all just a bunch of plastic parts, the only ones i ever saw that were decent were the agents. otherwise, i'd look into wesc or a pair of nixons, nixon's are sick but i don't like the look of em really

ive had the icons and the skullcrushers, the icons broke. but the skullcrushers were super legit, and the subwoofer is badass

THEY ARE FUCKING GARBAGE. I've gone through 2 pairs of smokin' buds, 1 pair of Inked, 1 pair of FMJ's, 3 pairs of Icons and 1 pair of Lowriders, all were blown out within' a month. and no im not stupid enough to pay for all of those, most were free or given as gifts. Skullcandy headphones fucking blow, headphones i took from Westjet lasted longer.

Dont get attached to them. Buy some on sale. when they break, buy new ones. They are supposed to look good and that's it. If you want the best quality spend 200+ on sum beats by Dre. It puts the price of the skull candyz in perspective.

This is the truth. I work in the pro audio field. They suck.

How would you prioritize these: Durability, Fidelity, Price, Looks

This will give us a good place to start

got some FMJ's for CHEAP, lasted a solid 2 years of use every day: skiing, downhill mtb, tramp, etc. I also hear the chops are good for activity b/c they wrap around your ear. Plus the warranty is jammin.

But that being said, yes, the sound quality of, say, a sony or panasonic is noticeably better...
