Are Skull Candies any good?

They're just awful to be honest. Drop the extra cash and get Beats by Dre. I have the earbuds and once you use them nothing else even comes close. They cost a lot extra but they are very worth it in my opinion.
 
They aren't good. People saying they are good have either had really good luck with them or are so influenced by their marketing program that they don't see the problems with them.

When I had a pair I got a ton of noise from touching the cord, and one day they literally just fell in half for no reason. Never bothered with the warentee.
 
Same here, thought I would spend more on the FMJ's, they lasted for about 2 weeks then quit. Just like the other 4 pairs i had bought previously. Great if you're sponsored and have 30 pair in your closet but otherwise forget em
 
Don't get Lowriders, the sound's ok but they're made of cheap plastic and break quiiiick. Not worth the pennies, mate. Get some others.
 
It's not even a headphones company. They're just suckers that paint some shitty ass graphics on wallmart headphones and hire tons of "cool" athletes to promote their dumbshit.

They even sponsor Mcmurray G squad, wich is a sign : shitty music shitty headphones.

skullcandy is probably one of the major brands with the worst quality/durability out there...so if you only care about looks, get a skullcandy, if you care about durability/soundquality, get something else ...
 
Skullcandy isalso against 'The System' and 'The Man' and by buying Skullcandy you 'keep it real and underground'.

That's what the adverts say so I believe them.
