Are skis bulletproof?

I was in my room the other day thinking “what if someone broke into my house right now? What would I do?” And I concluded that the only item in my room that I could really use as weapon would be one of my skis. And then I thought “what if the intruder had a gun? Could I use my ski as a shield as well as a weapon? Would it stop a bullet or would the bullet go straight through and kill me?”

Are skis bulletproof?

I mean skis are gonna stop the penetration of a bullet more than not having skis lol. Would the bullet go through the skis and then hit you depends on a lot of things like distance, gun type, bullet type, location hit on the ski, ski material etc.

If you held the skis at a certain angle that would mean the bullet would have to travel through 189 cm of pure Vishnu Wet and I’m p sure that would stop a bullet

Some dude in Mexico fought off like 5 armed intruders with a katana. I'm sure you could do the same with a pair of pipe skis with pivots. Imagine the spinning blade action as long as you're careful enough to not mousetrap a finger. Forget that, snap the heels up for a better handle.
