Are Skiers As Pumped On Snowboarding As Snowboarders Are On Skiing?

lets go get lost trailer was amazing. I have a few boarder friends that really like skiing and watching people like sammy, lj, bobby brown. my friend told me she likes skiing way more even though she boards

Someone above me said it well.....True boarders are stoked on skiers (and vise versa) because we realize we're in it for the same reasons. It's the gapers and weekend warriors that perpetuate these "skier vs snowboarder" stereotypes.

With that being said, as a snowboarder, I thought the ski videos from last year were better than the snowboard videos (With the exception, of course, of That's It That's All) I was super stoked after Claim, Turbo, and Slamina.

I am pretty much the last snowboarder out of my crew since most of the kids have switched to skiing. I think the Japan grab is sooo sick on skies (Also, it's my favorite grab on snowboard) i'm totally jealous of your rail spinning out, and your ability to K-fed. And overall, I get just as stoked watching skiing as I do snowboarding.

Of course, I can still press 8 different ways on a rail. Be jealous.

I love watching snowboard edits, but my bro hates on boarders all the time. I know some boarders that are trying skiing because they love it when their out with me, and love the craziness skiings getting to

Agreed. Snowboarders are far more innovative than most skiers, and skateboarding is where most snowboarders get their ideas from.

Skiing and boarding are both sick, but skating is still the gnarliest sport ever, some of the stuff they pull on a skateboard is just hideously ridiculous. And right up there with skating, is wake skating, theyre pulling the same tricks as skaters but going 20 miles an hour and boosting 12 feet into the air. Crazy, just wish I could pull some of that stuff.

I'm into skating and even wakeskating but I'm not sure 20 miles and hour and 12 feet into the air qualifies as the gnarliest thing ever.

do you no how much harder it would be to pretzel on a snowboard with skis you can brake with a 2 on in snowboarding a lot of the time you keep spinning

I feel this is very true in the midwest at small resorts. The park will be packed full of riders and then you ski up and they will look at you like you are crazy and should be on the bunny hill. When the reality is that they just know nuthing about either of the sports and think that it is a snowboar park. But when you are skiing/riding with people that are familiar with the sports of the mountains they normally both getted stoked off of eachother and what not. In reality we really should just hate on snowbladers lol
