im a snowboarder.

and i honestly can say that i think skiing is the shit.

its great. i think its more rad than snowboarding.

the only thing i wish, is that i could do it better.

haha.

 
other way around. i think snowboarding right now is way more legit than skiing. skateboarding still is the gnarliest sport ever though
 
Good skiers/snowboarders are generally stoked on anything that happens on snow. Average weekend warriors, not so much.
 
oh and ya, i think snowboarding (especially urban) is progressing to super sick levels. much respect!
 
I actually get more pumped watching snowboarders on rails than I do skiers. But much prefer skiing on anything else. Anyway, definitely like snowboarding. Cant wait to try it more this winter.
 
Same. I have tons of snowboard segements that I watch over and over. I'm pretty sure I've seen That more than any ski movie.
 
i love snow and i love being on the mountain im pumped that there are tons of people out there sharing my same love. however they decied to come down the mountain.
 
Snowboarders are definately not that stoked on skiing, I think skiers respect snowboardin more than boarders do skiing. Go to reelcomp.com an all snowboard video website and if they see a skier in an edit then the hatin goes to another level.
 
ive watched so many snowboard vids with my brother and some friends who snowboard. theyre so much fun to watch
 
i love watching skiers for surreee i get pumped whenever any of my friends throw down

their style is undeniable and id even argue more clean in some aspects
 
I was actually just thinking about this today! Snowboarders are wayyyy rad! In terms of urban and all that jazz snowboarders are KILLING it!! Seriously, they are sooo creative in that area. But I think that skiing is just straight up KILLING the park now (after watching the session 4 edit). But snowboarding has def inspired me to be more original this upcoming year. So I would def say most skiers and snowboarders are stoked on each other.

I actually ski and board, and randonee ski, but longboarding is sooo cheap!

 
Snowboarders are pretty cool and I get stoked on sweet tricks they do but it just seems like so many of them are jerks to skiers simply because they are ignorant of park skiing and all that it encompasses.

 
I get pumped for extreme sports in general, but i hate what snowboarding has turned into, plus i just think skiing is wayy cooler i general.

Ive a much better opinion about snowboarding than about skiing. There are way more different styles and I got the feeling that they don't hate on each other just because of tight pants and what not...

 
its been this way forever now. when pep put out that volume 8 part with presses and spins both ways on rails everyone was like yeaaah skiings comming up

but you watch movies today and that volume 8 part is still the closest we have gotten to being any good, its even better than peps new stuff.
 
I dunno about skiiers being pumped on snowboarding, but as a snowboarder I am definitely stoked on skiing. I get on skis as often as I can and have so much fun on them. I watch way more ski edits that snowboard edits and probably know of more ski pros than snowboard.

All the stupid snowboarders who have some dumb pride and think they are cooler need to take a good look at skiing and see how totally sick it is.

Most of the snowboarders who hate on skiiers are either just starting out, or don't know shit about the industry.

maybe this is a local thing, but on my hill the boarders are much more chillaxed then the skiers, therefore i shred most of my time with boarders and i like it. Alltough i can snowboard i still like skiing more then i do boarding. And for edits i find skiing and snowboarding to be one and the same, i get equally stoked on a good snowboarding movie as i do on a good skiing movie....
 
skiing caused people to think of snowboarding, snowboarding brought park and pipe to skiing. i love both sports, but if a boarder disrespects me, i disrespect them.

respect gets respect. were all on the mountain together.
 
i've snowboarded for many years and i've always been really dedicated to it...

last season i tried to ski again (i did as a child and for 8 years) and i was stoked how fun it can be...

i wonder if i ever would started snowboarding, if there were already freeskiing, probably not

now i'm much more eagerly waiting for next winter to come for skiing: it's something fairly new for me and i'm amazed by all the things i can learn...

i'll definitely keep on doing boarding as well, cause same day it's just better for me

just trying to get the best of both worlds

for what i've seen "real" snowboarders, those dedicated and who love just being on the snow, are stoked on freesking and his fast developing

gapers and haters, well i don't even count them: i feel that those "real" riders, and pros, have much more in common with legit freeskiers than with these weekend posers who snowboard
 
Watch Neverland, Last years snowboard movies blew(major film companies) with the exception of TITA and Stack Footy, Neverland looks amazing.
 
After living at Hood for two summers I am not stoked with snowboarders.

But then again that is High Cascade.

So the elite in movies- yea!

But also this is because snowboarding is such a big scene right now they have so much money to put into their movies.
 
my girlfriend whos a snowboarder showed me some think thank video and it was unbelievable i was more stoked on that than any other ski video because of the happy vibes it had instead of the i have to get this shot, while looking thug, they were all just goofing off. pretty refreshing and i hope thats where ski movies are headed
 
i think recently some skiers are more stoked on snowboarding than they are on skiing. personally, big mountain lines do it for me more than park or urban so when i see jeremy jones, gigi ruff or even victoria jealouse pull off some dope line, i'm stoked. couldn't really care less about anything else though. if it's sick, it's sick but nothing's really jaw dropping
