Are ski movies getting shorter?

I bought forward the other day it was a pro movies but it was like half an hour long. What’s with this? What ever happed to the pro warren miller movies that were like an hour and a half? And these movies are still like $25.

 
I can only watch WME movies once. Then they're toasted. Shorter movies are way more packed with the shit you just can't mess with. Down with plot lines!

most movies are 30-45 minutes. After that you see all the same shots, etc. Yes, Forward was short, but man, I would rather have that than a long lower quality movie

warren miller are long, big mountain, a lot more people and not always pro skiers. now basically prim stuff only in movies and less people

 
dude, i fall asleep when ski movies are longer than an hour.. especially big mountain ones

Yeah, focused was about an hour long, but that's filled with stuff other than skiing. I think that all the good shots in focused put together, without all the talking and stuff would be the same length a a lvl 1 or PBP movie.

But also remember, WM is a lot of big mountain and low angle carving stuff. There isn't much jibbing at all. All of the good segments in WM movies put together would be like 10 minutes.

And ski movies cannot have plots. When you watch a ski movie, you want to watch skiing, not anything in between. The closest I've seen to a ski movie with a plot is aspen extreme, and that hasd prob. 4 ski segments in it.

 
The skiing movies nowadays are really goin down the toilet and then need to make them 3 hours long like 'The lord of the rings' They just dont make movies like they use too.

 
ours was 42, all the sub par stuff in the extras

shorter running lengths mean more easier to watch over and over and over..at least to me

ski movie 2 was super long but i dont really get sick of it , its all the bonus shit is replacing the movies , i remember the days where the bonus was just scatter throguh out the movie to break it up
