Are Puffers going out???

I was just wondering if in your opinion are puffer slowly on the way out or are they hear to stay. I see Orage has some sweet jackets wich i would get over a puffer. O and post your fav jacket & pants i need some. Cheers, Nick
 
who cares if they are "going out" or not? and stop asking people to pick out your clothes. i hate when kids just get stuff because people tell them to, it basically just says youre just buying something to show other people

there is no such thing as "going out" when it comes to functional outerware. If it keeps you warm, dry and comfortable then its in. Stop putting so much emphises on how you want other people to view you and dress for what will keep you the most comfortable when your throwin down that cork 7.
 
big square goggles were the hottest shit in the 80's then they started 'going out' for my rounded out styles and now they're back again...keep wearing what works and eventually you'll be cool again?!
 
who gives a shit, i have one, and its warm, its cold in MN, and i need the added warmth, i dont care if the kid on the lift next to me doesnt like it, is that gunna make me ski better

Puffers suck. Unless you lve somewhere that it's really cold everyday and it doesn't snow very much they are worthless. You can't layer under them and they aren't very waterproof.
 
they are perfect for night skiing when its not snowing, walking around town...whatever. Why would you need to layer under it? other than long underwear you arent supposed to wear much under them. And no one is saying they use them when its dumping, they have their purpose though.
 
so, i was wearing my leopard print thong around campus the other day, trying to show off my buns, when i realized i was getting some wierd looks. is it that leopard print thongs are on their way out? is that possible? gosh, i hope not! of course, it might just be that i'm gay and care to much about what other people think of what i'm wearing. skiing IS NOT the runway in Cannes. you guys are fucking morons for asking people if what you're wearing is cool or not- do whatever the fuck you want.

By the way I beleive "puffer" is a porno industry term for the girl who sucks the guys dick in between scene changes to keep him hard for filming. If only we needed to have hardons to film too.
 
i think that the only reason to own a puffy jacket is for the warmth. they are hands down the warmest jackets
 
Yeah puffies are "in" when it's cold as shit. What should be "out" is wearing them when it's warm.

Um, "puffers", as you call them, or "puffys/puffies" as they are called by non-morons, are great to wear while skiing in places where it's freezing fucking cold. If you live somewhere where you get tons of precipitation and warmer temps, probably not such a good idea, unless you get the XXXL and NEVER zip it up, in which case I can refer to you as "one of those guys from Surrey". You don't want that, k?

i have a puffy jacket. there so warm. its a must for the super cold days of skiing pow in the backcountry
 
Actually im asking to see whats around because in Aus there is nothing in the stores at the moment and lots of ski ware sites are incompleet. So fuck off chump.
 
Look i was really asking if there is a real need for them any more sinse we have clothing that is not puffy that is as warm. I dout that i will by a puffer i do think they look steezy.
 
I will chime in as well... There is no substitue for a down jacket for night skiing, or when it is cold as nuts. They will never go out of style
 
That's right Fluffer! Dammit I thought it sounded off when I was typing that. We should still have them on the lift I think, to keep us warm.
 
why cant people just make their own look. who gives a shit if puffs are "out". id rather be considered out of style, than be a tool or a pro hoe
