my brother is 12 and is about 4 foot 2 ways 65 poundshes a really good skier and skis a lot of pow

he wants the armada tantrums or the sir francis bacons which are a bit big for him but not to big but is it really worth the money for new skis and new bindings since hes gunna grow out of them in max two years and do they really make a big difference like they do for older/ bigger people?

yeah but if he were to get pow skis he would have two pairs of skis since he needs park skis aswel, and he just bought new armada codas

Kids skis are cheaper because they are meant be grown out of. if you are talking about the full size Bacon's then no. He would not have a good time in them being he is waaay too light and small for them. The Bacon shorty's are made for lighter skiers with cap construction and an aspen core rather than a maple core. The tantrum's vs the tst's have a cap construction, different base material, and no carbon and Kevlar stringers. The point is kid skis are different than adult skis for a reason, and they are cheaper and meant to be grown out of.

so if he is a shredder more of a charger get the Bacon shorty's for their full twin tip

if he is a charger more than a shredder, get the tantrums for being a directional ski

and if you want to be an awesome brother and you live somewhere where there is a lot of pow, get the triple j's

not worth it. I'd say just teach him to ski pow on his park skis (thats what i did but i was 15) and then when he grows out of them get a mid fat park ski that you can use for both but will be good in both.

Yeah my brother is tiny but he shall grow soon. My bro is for sure gunna have a pair of park skis but I think I'm gunna wait on getting him pow skis since it wouldn't make a big difference right now and then when he needs them he can have pow and park skis
