I have 161 thrusters (centered). Got them a season and a half ago. Problem is i've grown alot in that time, now i'm about 5"9 and a half. Is it time for 171's or longer?
It's all about what you're comfortable with. If you like that length then there's no reason to change. But if you want more stability, go with something longer.
Just an observation: As soon as someone asks a question about whether their skis are too short, everyone ignores the question, except the first few posters, then the thread turns into a bunch of short people claiming how long of skis they ski. You aren't cooler than anyone else if your skis are huge. We all ski and if he wants to ski a ski that is 10cm different than what you thing he should ride, then who gives a flying shit.
its always nice to have others to compare to. i dont think anyone was really trying to claim. and to the op you have to remember that skis always look longer without bindings on them
in case you couldnt tell people are saying you might want to move up a little, but i feel it was said best with "if your not rocking 200+ get out of town"
