Are my skiis terrible for me?

Im roughly 5'8'' my skiis are 2004 k2 juvys that ive had since last season. They are 140 cm, will this affect my skiing?

unless you weigh about 105 pounds, they probably will... thats awful short for someone your height, even a beginner in freestyle skiing. I would recommend at least 170 if you weigh anywhere over 150 pounds.

im your height and i ride a 176 or so, im also about 165 lbs. skiing on a ski that short will deffnitly effect your skiing

it will be a big jump in size but you will feel the difference for the better i would with with sutten in the 70's

Def go for 170's. Domn't worry about the jump, I went from 150's to 170's no prob. I was 5'7 with the 150's. Now Im 6' and I need 180s

seriously. sell some dope or something and get a cheap pair of used boards. anything will be better than 140s. i think my little brother has 133s and hes 11, and about 2 feet shorter than you.

yeah u can get some pre teens or invaders and look steezy if u go with new skis for around 300. if u dont have the money try to ask for some money from ur parents. itf thats a no go get a job if thats a no go ski ur 140s

or better, rent skis the whole year. you def cant ride 140s youll be slow cause less edge, turning will be super un responsive. theyll flex sooooo much and chatter on anything but smoooooth snow. theyll prolly snap theyll have no float in pow, itll actually be like trying to walk through it. and landing jumps you wont have any tail or nose so itll be easy to fall forwards or backwards. show ur parents this thread and get some new twigs. lotsa peeps are sellin skis right now, its a pretty good time to buy

yea i got the same problem...i have 151's and im about 5'4", so i think i mide ride these to their death this year and get some new ones...or should i say fuck it and buy new ones this year???

ya get new skis, last year i was roughly 5 7'' and had the solomon 420's that were 151's and they were even way 2 small 4 me, i strongly recomend getting new skis

yea u need bigger skis. juvys are too short plus, they are foam core i believe
