i worked at a shop for years. we eventually dropped line because they had that much of a problem with durability. i personally snapped two sets of maverick's (tip and tail bent up at 90 degree angle), split a pair of 1260s in two differnt directions (not delam, like totally split the fucker until it ripped), crushed the sidewall/edge/base of some skogans... the list goes on. don't even get me started on their bindings. basically i skied a TON of lines (because i really wanted to support them as a company and buy a pair and my shop had pairs for me to mess around on) and i never managed to find a line that i felt skied well. i also broke every pair i rode with any regularity. i've owned 20ish pairs of skis from all different companies in the last 4 or 5 years, and demo'd a lot more. i gave line as fair a chance as i could, i even favored them slightly, and they totally blew it.
granted, i'm hard on gear and ski a lot... but i've had a pair of troublemakers for 3 years now and they have no major damage. dynastar has a horrible reputation on this site for reliability and mine have survived 150+ days of abuse. this season they were park and urban only even.
i know its just one guys experiances, but through them i've found line to make complete and utter crap.
