Are Line SFB bad?

Hey guys i have recently bought Line SFB in 190cm, I am 6`1 and 160lbs. I was looking for some ski "everything ski". I had few options Armada Arvti, Shreditor 102, Devastators. Was it a mistake to buy SFB? Someone says they are good, someone they are heavy etc. Should i try to get my money back and buy something different or I will be okay? I ski mostly in Austria. Thanks and sorry for my English Jacob

Everyone raves about them, and them being heavy is the only way a ski that soft can do decent in crud/mank..

I would keep them. Theres like 50 video reviews of them on youtube, and noone has anything bad to say. Definitely for more of a playful/finesse skier, than an all out charger.

I have them as my all mountain/powder/park ski and it holds up in all of the above. Floats well but can rip through crud and on groomers. Hit over 90km/h on these skis, they were flopping but still pretty stable

They're awesome and rip everything besides icy day old moguls in the morning...but who wants to ski that shit anyway! That's when you take em to the groomers, rip some carves and butter the knolls.

I skied a pair as my pow/all mountain ski last season and thought they were great. Not so soft that you can't rip piste but not so stiff that they aren't mad playful in pow. I'm 6'2 and have the 190 defiantly wouldn't go any smaller.

SFB are super fun if you're trying to pop off everything in sight in the resort. Not the lightest ski out there, but they remain composed in chop. They are not chargers by any means, but are in my mind a very good compromise if you like a more playful ski. At your weight, and on a 190, I don't think this will be the biggest issue unless you are someone who likes to make the least amount of turns possible. If you ski steep techy terrain these will be good for busting out short radius turns but I would imagine you can find something with better edge hold. All in what you're looking for out of your ski.

I know 3 people who own em and they love. I personally wasn't a huge fan of them but that's just me. Plus the bacon I skiied was in desperate need of a tune lol, you'll be fine

i have the K2 kung fujas, wich are basicly twins with the SFB. i never had any trouble with them and they rip almost everything. float could be slightly better though

Ok, thank you very much guys I am so glad to hear that, I will keep them.

One more question. I saw a thread, and OP was disappointed with printed mounting points, you have send him a PM. So my question is: Where should i mount them?(with griffons)

It depends what exactly you are skiing (park vs piste vs pow). Pollard's choice (-2cm from true centre) is the best all purpose mount. If you don't ski switch much, maybe go to -3cm. Anything further back than that and I find the tails a bit washy.
