Are hell bents okay for park?

No Hellbents are not good for park. Everyone will tell you they are sick for buttering, but it would be ridiculous to use it as your park ski.

if your good they will work unless your wanting to get super tech.

i think theres an edit in the top rated with a guy using bents in teh park. he was doin pretty much everything people do on reg skis.

im pretty sure the edges arent very durable so if you do a lot of rails with them they could break. i have them and they are really fun just to tool around in the park with, wouldnt buy them as a full time park ski because they are so heavy and cumbersome

^the edges are the asme as every other ski out there, theyre fine. its just a lot harder to spin with them beasts, and landing is a major pain because you wash out so easy. i've have ep's and bents in the park, and i would never convert to it even if it is more fun in more areas or a fad, to me its just no worth it.

i would personaly say no Bents in the park..they would make you wash out too easy.. and when you take a ski like the hellbent into the park you are gunna have more disadvatages than advantages.

is searchbar good for searching is a better question? lol jk

i wouldnt personally ride them in the park but if i had to i wouldnt mind

They are fine if you are skiing around doing big ol' slow tricks, but if you are skiing park and trying switch 10s, perhaps the Hellbent is not the ski for you. I actually don't prefer them for park, I use something with half the rocker but a few of my friends use them and actually ski pretty damned well with them. It was said above"They won't work 'cause you'll wash out on landings." I think if you are washing out, you probably were not landing it anyway.

I know you've seen Andy and Pep with them in the park. It could work. They're fun to jib on. But for hitting big features I wouldn't recogmend it. Not much pop. And if you've seen IDEA you'll notice Andy bouncing everytime he lands.

then why does moment have a park specific rockered ski?

Rockered skis have a lot of advantages in the park like the ability to do sick nose presses, butters, not have your tips catch during switch ups and pop sick front flips everywhere!! (disclaimer: do not attempt front flips just because you got rockered skis if you were not able to do them before.)

I have them.. and I'd have so say a big no on this. They are super fun for little jibs and stuff, but anything too big and unless you land directly to your feet, its not going to turn out well. Plus getting tech is gonna be tough, b/c they are huge.

I put 80 days on my EP Pros this year...

they worked fine for me, I'll probably even be rocking them in the summer this year.

^ just so we can get accurate info, what type of skiing did you do with your eps that they "worked fine for", like big spins in the park? or regular skiing? or pollard style tricks? just curious...

I own a pair, and like almost everyone in this thread said, they are fun to mess around on a little in the park, but a true park ski offers better performance.

cuz its more or less a fadd right now. they know kids will eat that shit up. Im not gunna lie they would be super fun to butter, and press with probably, but still not for park..
