Are camps out west geared towards youngins?

I was thinking about it the other day, i'm 19, and if i ever had a couple grand layin around i would totally do like high north or something like that. So to all of you that have been lucky enough to do a ski camp, are there any old heads like myself?
 
yeah itd be all set if its what you want to do. Its a blast and theres no way youd get bashed or anything everyone at camp is chill so if you want to go for it
 
my cousin went to camp when he was 19 or 20. good part is you can go out drinking with the coaches and shit
 
I went to Windells last year as an adult. I have to say, I think its probably even more fun to go as an adult, than as a kid. I thnk there was a party in the adult-only housing every night. They have special trips and activities geared strictly to the adult campers. While most adult campers are in college, Eddie Wall's dad is camper every season, so it's a wide range of people. I definitely want to go back again.
 
not 2 sound like a bitch or anything... but dont go 2 a camp unless it is ur dream 2 go pro in skiing an make a living out of it or ur just waisting ur money
 
ya i went to high north and there was a girl that was 18 and then there was an older guy and girl... i think they were like 20 somthing
 
uhhh fuck that son, i wont ever be pro or probably ever even sponsored. I've been to a summer camp twice and it was sick as fuck, i want to go back.

It's the only place where you can get coached by real badass people, meet some badass people and ski badass park. Yea you might not be as good as a pro, but when you go back to your home mountain you will be alot better than everyone there and can enter in contests and shit. Hell, i love just throwing down sick tricks, i dont care if anyone ever even sees them. I like to explore the limits of my abilities, it feels good. Plus, if you can throw down sick shit, you can impress the hot ladies if they are around and that is never a bad thing. :)
 
I disagree. I have no hopes of ever going pro, and I still think it was an awesome week. What better way to spend a week during the summer than to go skiing? I would guess that the majority of kids there were going because it's "the funnest place on earth," they love going skiing or snowboarding and not because they dreamt of going pro. That said, there is some really amazing talent there too.

I know this was made for young snowboarders, but this video gives you some idea of what Windells and hood is like during the summer.

skiing is aboiut having fun and improving and if skiing in the summer helps. Then its a good use of money.

Having fun and a good time isnt a waste of money in my view.
 
^ yea u dont have to go to a camp and waste your money just go to hood and camp for free you save way more money and if you go at the right time the public park might be really nice
