Are Armada's and 4Frnt Skis Really that good?

I know armada just came out for 2002-2003 for their pros, and they havent been around for that long. I've only learned of 4Frnt like a week ago, and i'm sick of my lines. I've had no luck with them, their top coat is way too thin and soft. I hope my darksides hold up, but my other two pairs of mike nicks arent doing too well. Session 11 and 12 at Hood, i got a major chip on the front tip of my nicks on a butter 3. My other ones got chipped on the tail. I'm sick of all the problems. I want a dependable, tough ski that's still good for all mountian and carving. But isnt too heavy. I heard that armada's and 4 frnts are heavy. If anyone's got some insight, i'd appreciate it.

all the little companys arn't as good as the big names because they have less money for r and d. but if you suck it really doesn't matter what kind of a ski you have.

^ok, thats sick. but anyways, someone told me that armadas are basically the same as scratches. some of the people that made the scratches (wasnt it like hall and the rest of hte rossi team?) now ride for armada, and helped design that ski, basically using the same thing, but slightly different so they dont get sued. thats what i heard. but, get 4frnts.

k2 pe's are the best ski around for the price and it truly is bombproof ive beaten the shit out of mine and they havnt snapped yet im amazed. 4frnts good too im friends with sterbenz , he knows what hes doing and he is very serious about it
