i just got a new pair of 1080s because my friend had let me ride them and i really liked them

i went to my local ski shop that i really trust and the guy there said that despite the foam core, they hold up pretty good

now im hearing stories about it falling apart midway through the season

are the skis really that bad?

!!!please dont start trashing them if u dont ride them!!!

i havent been out on them, but we drilled the holes for the bindings, so i dont know if i can return them, but im looking into it tomorrow

if they are, ill take any suggestions bout other good twin-tips

ryan

fine, but if i die, im totally gonna kick your ass - me after being dared to jump off my friends house into his pool

ya i i rode my friends 1080s last year and it was like riding a wet noodle. im ridin madtrix and im lovin em

~never be bought. never be sold~

the space frame 1080's are pretty sweet. dont know how they hold up though. but the old ones are a wet noodle.

my 2001s seem to be holding up alright. ive never touched a rail though, so im sure that helps. I'm getting pistols, so ill be destroying my 10s soon enough.

I do notice how 10s turn to wet noodles at speed though. it gets really sketchy.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day

fome core skis have best swingweight ride wood cores if you like your skis to ride like a tank. If get to demo a bunch of stuff you'll find that the 1080 is one of the best allround skis. The trouble maker is rad too.

my 1080s hold an amazing edge, i cant figure out how to pop them though...

If you have a 1380 SAT and a 86.71 GPA... what does everyone say? Not good job, not 'O wow, thats awesome!' No, they say things like 'You are an underachiever'

I like my 1080's pretty well. Mine havnt totally gone to shit like some of yours, but I have noticed that they have 'broken in' a bit. But I still feel that they are a good all around ski.

just because there is a goalie in the net doesnt mean you cant score

i have only rode on my new teneightys about 6 times this year but i absolutly love them. i think they are a great all around ski, we will see what happens later in the year though.
