AR7 Replacement Skis Needed (ARV, T-Walls, EDOLLO??)

So I'm looking for a new ski after 2 years of beating up my AR7s. Im 24, 5'9" and weigh 155 lbs. The AR7's were awesome, loved the durability, speed and consistency. Becuase Im in the midwest I ride 90% park, 10% All-mnt. Essentially, I want a ski that is similar in durability, speed of the AR7, but maybe slightly softer in the tips and tails becuase I could not butter those things(probably becuase I suck). When I go out west, I dont touch the park and rip All-mnt, so ideally I could get a ski that will be fine nailing rails, but then rip the steeps. Let me know if you have any ideas!
 
You could for sure benefit from the edollo. Super sick ski nice speed really playful where you need it and I guess you could say responsive when necessary. I'm about 5'11" and the 178 is perffff. A few otha options would be some nomad 95s, revolts, or kartel 98s

Got the 2.0 and theyre sick as a charger all-mtn ski. Haven't ridden them much in the park but they've been pretty fun jumping all over the mountain

Everyone who has the 2.0 says they're amazing for all-mnt charging. I'd love to grab the 2.0's, but since I live and ski in the Midwest for all but 1 week a winter, its hard to justify an All-mnt charger on

I know it says the 2.0 is an all mtn ski but it should say so everything ski instead. That ski slays the park and performs so well all over the mtn too. You wouldn't be disappointed in that ski at all. I'd also look at the arv 96 for another option. But overall the 2.0 absolutely slays.

I'm really digging the 2.0's. I think they may be the best move for me. How do they hold up on rails? I do a lot of rails, but I'm not doing any disasters of huge spins on.

Out of personal experience, durability on the Candide series seems to be hit or miss. Some people swear by them but others have had skis just fall apart on them. I'd look more in depth for a couple reviews on the ski.

I've kind of seen the same thing in reviews. Twig's Roofbox review from 3 years ago says he skied 40+ days on themhttps://www.newschoolers.com/news/read/In-Depth-Faction-Candide-2-0. But I have seen comments on other Newschoolers review where kids said they broke day 3. I do not want to spend that much for a ski that'll break in a week.

Look at arv 96, Nomad 95, and a custom soft kartel 98/magnus. All are very solid skis which will be softer than the ar7s and still be able to rip park and pow

You just described the Pipe cleaner and AR8 (same exact ski) you see the Thall, pipe cleaner and AR7 were all the same ski in different flex patterns, Thall being softest, pipe cleaner mid/stiff and AR7 being stiff. They felt it wasn't worth produce 3 ski models so close to each other, and they couldn't leave athletes without a ski and everyone loved the pipe cleaner so they scrapped that line and Rebranded the pipe cleaner as The AR8. I ride them and they rip everywhere, they do super well with all mountain and everything for such a narrow waist.
