Hi! I have seen many thread about Ar7 or thall. But im not sure yet!

I ride alot of park and rails, but also a bit pow. This seseaon im going to improve my skills on rails and jump, but also learn new tricks into pow.

Im riding park for about 69,5% of the time and pow 30,5%.

I'm gonna have look pivot binding and salomon spk boots.

So what ski do you think i should have?

You cant have your cake and eat it too im afraid. They are both park skis, but they're skis, so they can ski pow. If your just gonna learn tricks into pow (BC kickers i assume), they'll be fine, but for skiing lines, you;re bette off with a pow ski.
With what you said, i would recommend the ar7, the THall are quite stiff.

I think he meant THall are too soft... if your only gonna have one ski the AR7 will treat you better... but if youre only gonna get one ski Id say get the ARV since its small enought for park but big and stiff enough for some pow

take both skis side by side. Same fucking ski, they dimensions are 1mm off..... bullshit there the exact same size. the thall is a tad stiffer though.

Thall- Softer at tip and tail, more of a true park ski but will handle in pow.

Ar7- Stiffer better at speeds, and more allrounded, will handle similarly in pow as thall.

The only big difference is the stiffness of these two skis otherwise they are very similar!

both thall and ar7 are god choices for handling park and the rest of the mountain. They both have the ar50 construction making them superlight due to blend of cap and sidewall construction. The flex rating on armada's site for comparing the thall and ar7, the thall is softer in the tips and tails for jibs, the ar7 is stiffer in the tips and tails to handle jumps and can still be able to jib. the ar7 would handle the rest of the mountain better for the stiffer flex would offer more stability. So they are both excellent sticks but for what you want go with the ar7s

yea if you are wanting to ski anything really off piste i would not recommend the t-hall. Super fun to jib around on but not much of an all mountain bandit

honestly guys the skis arnt to different. If u want a stiffer ski with less chatter go thall. they come from the same press dont let the 1mm off dimensions fuck with u
