AR6s

why wouldn't you get the 176? I think it is silly to assume people can't handle appropriate size skis. I have the 181 ar6 and the guy at my shop asked me why I wanted such long skis. I am 195 lbs for the love of all good things. If anything, I still want longer skis. Arg. Anyway, get the 176, I promise you will be happy you did

im 510 around 170 and im getting the 181s, i rather have a long ski then a short one, in the past ive had a ski that was too short and trust me you dont want that. if a ski is too long it will take you just a couple times on it until you get used to it and then youll shred that ski anyway. so i would say go with the 176 with out question.

yea im probally getting the ar6 too. not to take away from your thred or anything, but im 6 foot and one half inches and weight 173lbs..should i go 176 or 181???

im 5-9 or 5-10 and like 145 and im rockin 176s. if i grow at all, they wont become too small like

170s would

some people like shorter skis, deal with it.

either 170 or 176 is fine, you just got to decide whether you like longer or shorter skis.

go as long as possible. they need to be like 10 cm above your head to be super stable. you can easy take the 176 or 181

176, he's not that tall or heavy 181 would be rediculous, ESPECIALLY center mounted. As my friend recently pointed out to me, excessively long skis aren't smart for park when you center mount them becuase the more tell you have the more leverage you have to blow up your knee. longer is definately more stable, but there needs to be more of a happy medium, not just telling people to get the longest ones they make.

I'm the same but I'd say go 176, longer -in my opinion- is only going to give you a heavier, bulkier ski than you'll want. More swing weight and even though it adds weight it's still made out of the same stuff, so it won't do that much to dampen it - rather when you go of a jump you'll feel the larger ski wiggliing in the air more than a shorter ski - merely because smaller means less to wiggle and they will sort of stabilize quicker, but I'm not saying get snow skates or whatever the hell they are either.

-just my 2cents

anyone know how fast the ar6's are? like if I wanna blast the occaisonal straightline will I be moving or just look like some idiot who can't turn?
