AR6 Warranty Help!

I picked up a pair of 08 AR6's from my local shop about a month ago...and this past Wednesday I took a trip up to A-basin for a couple laps through the park to try em out. I hiked the park for about 45 minutes, hitting the little box and down rail that was set up...and I only ended up eating it once or twice, and not even that bad. Then I took a couple laps down the high noon, the only trail that was open, and everything felt fine as far as the AR6's went. However, when I was putting the skis back on my car, I discovered there was a cut/slice ATLEAST 3/4 through the sidewall and only a couple centimeters, if that, from the base (right behind the heel). There was also extensive topsheet damage and a few other significant chips (Obviously, when you ski park, your skis are going to get nicked up to some degree...but in my opinion this damage was too extensive for 45 minutes of mellow rails). I will post some pics up later today, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this? And would this damage be worth trying to warranty? I have never dealt with Armada before so any info would help. I am also new to park skiing so I could be completely off base in terms of inevitable damage etc. Any info is appreciated!

this happened to me 2yrs in a row and Armada was amazing with their warranty

call them up, tell them what happened, send them an e-mail with a photo of what happened, and just be really nice and polite about it.

The guys that work there seem really chill and down with whatever.

yeah I was planning on shooting them an email and/or giving them a call. I just wanted to make sure that it wasnt a dick move becuase I was not sure if this type of thing is the "norm" with park skis that are made to be thrashed more or less.

Yea man i wouldnt worry, they seem really cool when i was on the phone, and they shipped my skis in 2days i was soo happy

Tyson is the man, and I mean, THE man. Just send him an email with detailed pictures, and your golden. Be very polite, and it never hurts to throw in an Armada compliment!

Search "Armada comes through" and check out my warranty experience.
