AR6 vs Volkl Walls

probably a bit softer because im light but i have no clue about the preferance of symetrical or non symetrical.

well im 5 foot 5 and 110 pounds, and i got the ar6s in the 166. i was also looking at volkl walls too. i went with the ar6 because i wanted a softer ski for rails and jibbing around the mountain and a non symetrical ski fitted me better because i ski half park and half just cruising groomers...

i havent gotten a chance to ski my ar6s yet, but i can tell you that hand flexing them, they feel like they are going to be really stiff for someone my size to butter easily, so i kindve have some regrets getting them. so if you want a ski that will be fun and playful for our size, yet will still be okay to great at everything else look in to the armada thall, armada alpha 2, still possibly the ar6 because i may be incorrect, the liberty LTEs, line anthem, line invader, atomic punx, k2 disordorly (the 2009/2010 feel really poppy and extremely soft) and some others that i cant think of right now.

yeah no problem. feel free to pm me anytime, im practically on here all the time haha. but yeah the thalls are the same thing as the ar6, but the flex point is moved back farther toward the boot for easier presses. also, it has a peice of fiberglass underneath the foot to stiffen it up for edge hold.

and the disordorlys, i know a lot of people hate them on here, but at my shop, tons of people ride them and love them, but the people on here hate them, so im not to sure what to tell you on those..

Go for Walls from my experience. Stiffer flex and can handle anything on the mountain, there suppost to be a park ski but I took them into a bit of Backcountry and Some Pow Pow. If your concentrating on the park most of the time the AR6 will be a bit softer and Playful thought the Walls will be strong on rails and Jumps. It's all up to you: Softer: Playful. Stiffer: All Round. Get Walls.

no, fuck k2 disorderlys. they're heavy, shitty, tear out, break, and k2 has a shitty warranty. read the review in my profile.
although if you want a single used 179 ski from last year for any reason, hit me up.

I have the ar6s and my friend dirtystyle has the volkl walls. Everybody here is saying that the ar6s are softer, but i really think the flex is about the same on these skis. They are both great skis. IMO the ar6s will ski better outside the park and the walls will ski better inside. I loved my ar6s, but I tried on dirty's walls, and the flex pattern is way sick and smooth on them.
