AR6 vs. Silencer.

I am looking into getting a new set of skis, strictly for park. I was looking at the AR6's, (had the AR5's, loved em) as well as the Silencers.

From what I hear, I gather that the AR6 is a little stiffer than the AR5.

But in the shop the other day, the Silencers were a little stiffer than the AR6's.

I want a ski with a lot of pop; do the Silencers perform, or should I stick with the Armadas?
 
dont let the price fool you. i got some silencers from work to hold me over until i get my 4frnts in, and damn, VERY impressed. fairly light, super poppy, med.-stiff. flex, awesome jump ski. they ski very much like the origional PEs which they are based, and i like them much more than the new PEs and alot more than the ar6s. armadas are ok skis, but alot of thier popularity has to do with thier team and thier graphics, there are definatly better sticks, and in this case, im gonna say the k2s are, ESPECIALLY if your goin pure park.
 
i was going to come in here and tell you silencers suck out of park but i then i read it and you want park only so

i would go with silencers because they are cheap
 
You're comparing a cheap price point twintip ski with an AR6?!

if you have the money to spend on the AR6 then deffiantly get them but if u want to save some money from what i heard the silencer isnt that bad of a ski
 
Ladas are way better on gas, and if I was concerned with only fuel effiency, the Lada would win. In my case, I care strictly about park and I think that the skis are comparable.

I'd like to paraphrase you and say "You sir, are a jackass."
 
i had the same dilema early season, but i was looking at silencer vs. ar5. I went with the ar5 because it seemed like a sweet deal but it turned out costing way more... i would do the silencer or even invaders if i could go back in time. then again, i dont know how the ar6 or silencer ride so....
 
armada is wayyyyyyyy overrated..silecners ftw.

im in same position as you are and i got the silencers mounted w/ these sick white salomon bindings all for $170 PEACE KIDSSSSSS
 
if you have the money personally i would go armada. but silencers are a very legit ski. good everywhere... and very cheap. thats another thing with K2, mad good skis for mad cheap... (fujatives, silencers, PE's)
