i have a pair of axials laying around and i was wondering if the mounting pattern is too narrow for the ar6s and if i should try another binding.
 
Maybe you're talking about the brakes?!

No problem if they are too narrow, you can grab larger ones and swap them. Every shop selling Look or Rossi bindings should have that.
 
a shop tech told me that last year's axials has a slightly narrow screw pattern than the looks and because of this it rips out of skis like motherships with a soft wide core. the brakes i know are no problem at all.
