AR6/Pipe Cleaner size

Just a quick ski length question. Pretty sure I'm going to pick up some AR6s or Pipe Cleaners soon and was just wondering what length to get. I'm about 5'10" and weigh about 195 lbs (plan on taking some weight off though.) I'd say during the ski season I'll be 5'10" and more like 180 at max and 150 at min.

So what length should I get 176 or 181?

Not sure on the mount just yet. Probably -2 or -1 back from true center. These will be my skis for everything if that makes a difference. I'm on the EC so I'll use these for a ton of park and then also for groomers, trees, moguls, what little pow we get, and steeps.

i got my ar6's center mounted and love em

i know that the entire armada crew rides them at 2.5 though, and i think they ride a bit better there.

sorry for bump, but who has skied both lengths and what do you prefer and why? I may wanna trade my 181 new un mounted PCs for 176s. I will be under 6'2" start of next season and under 170lbs, love jumps/pipe and wonder how much easier spinning will be on 176s due to less ski getting in the way. will be mounted 2 back.

Were about the same size and I ride 176 PC's and they're perfect sizeI wouldn't really wanna go any bigger and definitely not shorter.

stick with the 181s, they difference in swing weight is not noticeable, having skied both the 181 feels better on jumps and the extra 5 cms is nothing if you're concerned about weight. The materials used in these skis are super light as it is, you know that man.

To the op,

"I'd say during the ski season I'll be 5'10" and more like 180 at max and 150 at min."

we're the same size, I ride 176 PCs and wish I had the 181. again, I've skied both and the 181 is bitchin.

^ thanks for explaning. and I wasn't worried about weight, more how much more annoying it will be on take offs with 181s vs 176s, which you basically answered. +k
