Ar6 or pipecleaner

i got some 08 171 ar6's last year and they are the best ski i've ever had. anyways , for next year i cant decide between a 176 ar6 or pipecleaner. i'm leaning towards pipecleaners but am concerned after reading keystone park review where some testers reported instability when carving. wondering if anyone who's skied pipe cleaners can give their opinion or opinions on preference from any one who has skied them both. i'll be using them for all moountain & park but iwon't be doing rails and i rarely ski powder
 
id deff go pipecleaners if u hav the money especially if u dont do rails cause they have race bases which will make them much faster than Ar6 and are slightly stiffer so will be poppier on jumps and in pipe
 
If i remember correctly the PCs are the exact same ski as the Ar6. The PCs are just a tad bit stiffer and have the race base on them.
 
nah, the t-hall is completely different ski from pc and 08 pc graphic is pretty plain but that's ok. I'm kinda over the cartoon graphic on my ar6
 
i loves my pipecleaners! And ive hit many a rail and ive never had any problems with durability. Others have but i havent
 
I've skied both and own 08 AR6's. When i tested them the Pipe cleaners felt really "grippy" when i was carving on them meaning they wouldn't let me out of turns as easily as I wanted. This could have been the tunes fault but I ski in Colorado and wanted a playful ski for occasional park and all mountain skiing. If you love the ski you're on now then why try to fix it?
 
yea, my ar6's are dope but i'm probably a little obsessive/compulsive- i'm always thinkn there's abetter ski . With the pc , im lookn at the lightness & race base but also was a little concerned about the stiff tail. My walls had really stiff tails but after riding themm acouple weeks i was able to break them in - hopefully if i get the pc's i can break them in.
 
The ar6 and pipecleaners are basically the same ski except the pipecleaners have a stiffer tail for boosting out of the pipe and a faster race base. I haven't skied the ar6's, but i do ski the pipecleaners.For the first couple days i skied on them i noticed some instability when carving, but i got used to it and the pipecleaners worked decently for all mountain. All the hype about not being able to hit rails isn't true either. The ar6's and pipecleaners have the same strong constuction its just that the pipecleaner's race bace is slightly softer which increases your chances of getting a bigger gouges in your bases.
