AR6 edge "rolling" out?

after a fair amount of abuse my ar6's have begun to fall apart. edges are cracking, topsheet is chipped, and now i've started to notice a bunch of other bullshit going on with my edges.

has anyone seen this before??

i'm sure it's from hitting rails a bunch, but i want to know if anyone has ever kept skiing on skis like this, and how long they lasted before having to get new ones. these are my babies and i hate to see them breaking :(

longshot but how fly is armada's warranty policy in terms of me being anywhere near eligible for trading in for a new pair? (these are ar6's from the 09/10 season.)

Considering how old those are they do not look too bad. Its just normal wear and tear from rails. Keep using them at this point. There is no point in spending money to try and fix them. Its unlikely they could be fixed anyway.

Just ride them untill they literally fall apart or you can afford new skis. And no Armada will not warranty a ski from 4 seasons ago, which has been damaged on rails.

if u look at ur edge it is as thin as a fingernail if not thinner, the delam will come very soon from the edge as the same had happened on my s4's, and did you ski with that ski as ur lead foot all of the time?

That happened to my Ar7's too, but not quite as bad. The edges on both skis were almost round and the bases started to wear as well. I'd say it's pretty normal, you are grinding the things on metal after all.

good call everyone. i'm going to make a bigger effort to switch my skis more from now on. i'm just so ocd that i would get annoyed when the graphics wouldn't match up.
