Ar6, anthems or TNKs

Im looking at some 08 or 09 skis for under 500$, Im 6 foot 1 inches tall and weigh about 160. people say alot about moment reno jibs, but they are out of my price range, so I dont want to hear "support the smaller company!!". im looking at getting some line anthems, 4frnt TNKs, or some amarda ar6's( 08 or 09). I spend most of my time in jib park and park, but I enjoy the occasional all mountain. I live in maine and my home mountain is sunday river, so powder means nothing to me.( but I stll do dream of skiing some big pow). The point of this thread is for you to give me your oppion on these 3 skis or some that you think would be good for me, I want you to help me narrow down my desicsion down to one pair of skis.

p.s shout out what you think I should get for bindings also

the AR6 sounds perfect for what you want

the anthem is a little more park specific and will do a little worse out of the park, but they are still a park ski so hardpack won't be bad at all

also, the anthems are 6mm wider.

which will give you more ski to land/slide on

and they will [naturally] perform better in powder

but on the ice coast that doesn't matter so much

overall

i would say the AR6

but the anthems would be a solid bet too

I don't know too much about the tnk's or the anthem's but the ar6 definitely sounds what you're looking for. I'm the same height as you and i got the 181's and they are great inside the park and out.

thanks, I also want them center mounted and I know anthems are meant to be center mounted and they have that butter thing, but what about center mounting the ar6's??

the anthems are a symetrical ski

but the AR5 isn't it's dims(for the 181) are

118-86-108

so -2 back from center would be optimal!

2cm is not that much, so you won't even notice

TNKs are a stiffer ski that would be more pipe/ all mtn oriented and the AR6 is like a 60-40 ski. so im gonna say the Anthem for what you do . its mostly a park ski, but when you take it in clades and on groomers it will do great too

exactly.

any park ski will do well on groomers

and with the anthems 93waiste it will be a more versatile ski then the AR6

and if you want to centermount, a symmetrical ski is the best way to go.

anthems

width only improves the ski feels amazing to land on something that wide onlyski i have use it all mountain. i live out west so i do see some pow with them.

amazing switch with the center mount

soft perfect for jibs and such but still able to handle high speeds
