AR5's in powder?

here's the deal, im going to colorado in feburary and will be skiing powder,i ski almost all east coast so only have a pair of ar5s, i was wondering if my ar5's will perform well in powder or should i invest in a cheap pair of pow skis.

how far back are they mounted? and are ar5's ummm around an 80-82 waist? im not sure youll have to refresh me

they are mounted at the suggested mounting point and the wasit is 81 on the 176's

those skis will blow in anything over ten cm. i wouldnt bother to buy a shitty pair, on the off chance that it dumps, you can rent/demo current gear for a fraction of the price.
