Ar5 vs. Chronic

I am 5'10' and 140 pounds and was wondering if I should get this years Ar5's in a 176 or Chronic's in a 177. I live on the ice coast and ski mostly park and all mountain.

 
what else would you ski on the east coast besides park and all mountain?

College passes are awesome
 
im gonna have to say ar5. My home shop had more warrantys fufilled by LINE then by all the 8 other ski companies! aka the LINE skis would delam. so much line gave the warranty but it made alot of people at my shop pissed. So The owner stopped carrying LINE. Maybe this year is better and maybe its not a problem anymore, im just sayin what Ive seen last year. The AR5 had that problem last year too. But this years is WAY better in that category. Im gonna have to say AR5!

 
chronics=bombproof. and sick graphics to boot.

no way thre cronics i have ridin them they feel so good there eway bertter than the armadas and basiclly any other park ski out there

 
i was also wondering what bindings i should get. if i get the chronic's i think i will get the reactors, but if i get the Ar5's (more likely) i am not sure if i want look p12 jibs or salomon s912 ti's.

 
DEFINATLY CHRONICS. after seeing the new armadas in person, i was very disapointed. lines on the otherhand are insane. the chronic is definatly lighter, and has a burlier base+edges. from what ive heard, alot of people dont like the sidecut on the AR5s either. plus with the chronics you could rock reactors, which are equally sweet.

in science class i sat down to fast and you know how you can sit on your balls. well i did and i sat down really fast and crushed them and right when i sat down i started puking and fell out of my chair. they teacher laughed. i felt like i could pass out i wanted to die.-*NWFT*nUkkA

^^^^^^ the sidecut improves performance on the groomed you dumbass. if anything that sidecut improves quality for crud/groom quality while not sacrificing anything for the occasional powder.

this doesnt mean the chronics arnt sick but know what your talking about.

out of those two...id would say armadas. they are sooo much better this year than last year.

overall id get stl's for a park ski. thats just my opinion

wow you guys arent makin it easier :P and the damn ski mag's reviews all suck. i might go with the ar5's because they've had a year to get them right however line has also had plenty of time to perfect a park ski..now is the mike nick pro better than the chronics?

 
east coast^^how could you base your choice on going to a shop and looking at them. you can't base a strong educated opinion on just looking at skis dude

Chronics are rockin in the park..i have used a pair at a early season demo....if ur gonna go with the AR5 drop a bit extra money and go with the T-Hall pro models

they're supposed to be slick

if ur a poser your a real skier....
