AR5 vs. AR6

I can get an pair of 2004-2005 new AR5's for $250. Is it worth spending extra money on the AR6? Is the AR6 a much better ski?

hmmm, that's tuff, the 05 AR5s had edge problems. if you can find 06's get those, i think they're better skis than the 6s, stiffer, and better all mountain because of it. the AR6s are good for park, but can be too soft for some people all mountain.

in my book the 06 AR5 and the 07 AR6 are the same ski.

yeah they ar6 is like 85 in the waist and the ar5 are 81, I'd go with the ar5 it's not worth $260 more if ur paying the retail of $510 for the ar6

you can get the AR6 for %30 off at sierrasnowboard.com which makes it worth spending the less than $100 difference to get the newer wider better ski.

wow. i was just saying the same thing. i have one question though. i am 5 6 and growing and if i buy a 160 now will it be to small for me by next season?
