AR5 owners....

Anybody agree with me that the AR5 carves, skis, and feels just like a GS ski??

(a somewhat pointless thread, i know, but its related to another one about good carving twin tips)

well i havent rode mine yet but just by holding them i can tell the edges are sharp and the sidewalls help with the carving to.

depends on what size ar5 you're talking about.. i used to race for a long time and i found that no twin tip ski can compare to any high end race ski as far as carving goes. although i heard the foils are decent...

it is Giant Slalom... and the AR5 does carve well, but no centermounted ski can compare to a GS ski

if that was the case every racer would run out and buy them...but every all mnt high end twin tip should compare to a low-midrange race ski for carving.

well my edges are still sharp, so they carve really well, and i find them similar to atomic GS skis....although they are not nearly as snappy and high energy, they still carve very well for a twin tip in my opinion
