Theres a post about this in the ski equipmrnt forum, but i thought i'll start one here because i really want to know the answer

What does AR5, ARV and MSP all stand for??

You have your cool word names like: Maverick, Ghetto Blaster, Public Enemy, Troublemaker, Mothership

Then you have the weird names with numbers and stuff: AR5 ARV MSP

You have callaway:Big Bertha, Steelhead, Hawkeye

Then you have titleist:975d, 975j, 975j-vs, 983e, 983k

yeah, like my irons are the Tommy Armour 845s but my 3 and 5 woods are the Adams Tight Lies 2. some catchy names, and some stupid numbers

well think about it... ARV and AR5 are technically the same thing..... its just that ARV is using V as the Roman Numeral for 5.... so AR5 is park... and ARV(AR5) is the mountain one... but they still are the same thing... its just a way to tell them apart... but technically.. their names are the same.
