so today, i think, there was a press conference with the two guys from the marketing department for the aqua teen movie.

they stood infront of everyone, on the news and everything, talking about hairstyles the whole time, and not saying a single word about the "fake bombs" that they planted around major cities.

They've been up in tons of other major cities, and they've either been just taken down, or ignored. No one other than the dumbasses in Boston thought MUST BE A BOMB!!!!!!111

Thats not the problem. Terrorism is a real issue. And what separates it from something such as, oh, allergic reactions is that it is quite destructive in many aspects, very arbitrary (it could happen practically anywhere, anytime), and has the potential to kill many innocent people, albeit not a big percentage, randomly, and that it is difficult to stop.

However, people took this way way way over the top. It was never serious to begin with. That video is hillarious. Those media scavangers aren't really used to that shit.

but back to u mr newschooler, if u lived in an apartment and one of those neon signs was by ur apartment and it blew up u would be hurt or dead and saying "why didnt the government take those down they r retards who dont care" and if they did take them down and found they were bombs i but u would feel totally retarded because u would have never expected it...america needs to be a bit cautios and paranoid because it seems every one dislikes us. so im jus saying its better to be safe than sorry
 
you can't live your life like that. If you think there's going to be a bomb around every corner you might as well just hide in your house until you die.
 
people here in boston are paranoid about stuff like this, this one did cross the line. people just got scared.

people here (boston) are particularly bad because almost all the planes on 9/11 left here, and i heard somewhere that almost everyone either knows someone who died on 9/11, or knows someone else who lost a friend etc then.

if nothing else, it made a good practice drill for the cops.
 
hahah yah i was inside the blue hills lodge (20 minutes from boston) watching this on the news with like a ton of random adults too and i just kept yelling "SEND IN JACK BAUER"
 
what the fuck dude? i'm not in a very logical state of mind, but it seems like you live in boston, but heard from someone else that "everyone" in boston knew or knows of someone who died in sept 11. I live right outside of boston, and you are fucking illogical. Wouldn't you know of someone who died in sept 11 if this was true?

in the last couple of years you cant even bring liquid onto planes, airports on on lock down, schools have metal detectors, citys have security cameras, im suprised people are even able to change with out anyone knowing of it.

i also remembering hearing that with the press conference, they were even advertising a new show called "the perfect hair" or something, any truth to this? Personally i think the whole thing is fuckin riot, and hell, its damn good publicity.

Terrorism isn't a threat, dude, kill yourself, pronto, because when you pull your head out of your ass and realize how stupid you are your gonna want to do it anyways. Your trying to tell me that terrorism is not a real threat, fine, tell that to the family of a 9/11 victim, 100 bills says they slap you within 20 seconds.
 
Theres a fine line between not being concerned, and acting like you dont care about people dieing. 3000 dead is 3000 individual lives destroyed, 3000 families torn apart, and countless other lives turned upside down. It doesnt matter how many people live in that country. If you shoot me in a group of 20 people, thats the same as shooting me alone, ya dig?
