April hit me like a ton of bricks

It's March 2021, the storms keep rolling in, the snow is deep, it's sunny and you're popping off on your 2x4s, sending cliffs, learning new tricks etc. The vibe is all time.

Next thing you know it's April 1st, it's 80 degrees in the valley and the season is about to end and you ain't know how you're gonna survive. You're looking at flights to Oregon and buying a spring pass to the bird but you can't fight off the inevitable feeling... The season is over.

Where do we go from here?

Alaska

It looks like there's gonna be one more little try next week but after this 50+ degree weekend, idk how much snow therell be. Hopefully this doesn't mean the river season is as lame as it's been lately. And the wildfire season...

It was snowing in Detroit yesterday. Just have to wait for second winter to come around, it always does.

Tore my MCL the very week before spring slush season started. Had to miss the best part of the whole season. That hit me like a ton of bricks

Get a dirtbike and then skiing will become your off-season sport because It's pretty hard to beat a motorcycle that can go highway speeds on dirt and handle big ass jumps with ease. I moved across the country to ski and can honestly say I'd rather ride my dirtbike most days. Shits so fun.

I feel bad, I since I went mountain biking last week it killed all my motivation to go skiing, its the last weekend for us too

1. Find a summer job

2. Save some money

3. Drink heavily and grill

4. Make love vigorously (hopefully not solo)

5. Repeat 2,3,4

6. Buy a discounted pass in September or apply to jobs with passes

7. Start skiing in November

This guide should get you through the summer.

Out of everything I’ve done I still rather ski, just personally preference tbh

I feel, but with mountain biking, I love skiing with all my being but it sort of has just been the activity that gets me through the winter until trails open and I can shred my ass off in the brown pow

Every single summer

My truck read 80° in the parking lot at bear today. Crazy stuff considering it was dumping hella hard in Arizona just a week ago. Just praying Snowbowl stays open into may again this season so I can squeeze in another 10 or so days.
