Applying for junior driver's license in NYS

ok my parents and i both want me to get my license

ive done around 30 hours of driving

however i havent had my permit 6 months

in ny, do u need to have ur permit 6 months before taking your road test? or is the 30 hours sufficient.

you can take the roadtest, but all you can do with the liscence they give is drive to work or school events

after 6 months you get the one where you can drive until 9

Not exactly.

You can get your license to drive to school, home and work any day after you get your permit. You need to take the 5 hour course and "do 20 hours". Yea ok... So then if you pass you can only drive to school, work and home until 6 months after you get your permit, then you can drive anywhere.

Then until your 18, you cant drive after 9pm, unless you take drivers ed then you can drive after 9 at 17.
