Apple's net worth more than Microsoft

The Ipod is what saved Apple. They sold over 100 million of those things. If Apple continues developing media friendly technology it will continue on its path to the top. Ironic that Microsoft dumped $150 mil into Apple 10 years ago.

But unless Microsoft suddenly forgets how to develop new software/technology I think they will remain on top for a while still, no matter what some analysts speculate. Because thats what this is. Its an educated guess. Microsoft runs a pretty tight business. They have a good amount of cash on hand and have a pretty consistent net income.
 
hardly means one is better than the other. i don't see how you can put value on what a company could make in the future vs one who is already putting down those numbers, without having an expert make some educated guess on what could be.

 
I have the possibility of overcoming microsoft too. Does that make my net worth more too?

Just kidding. Technology changes so quickly it will only be a matter of time before another company overtakes both.
 
Very possible. I like where they're headed and their ideas. They may be stretching themselves a little thin but they have the ambition. And flash is dead anyway.

android is already outselling iphone os btw.

android 2.2 supports flash for the most part, and i don't think it's dead yet. i think jobs fucked himself over by rejecting flash because html 5 still has to prove itself and develop, which will take some time.

and either way, the more apple's net worth grows, the more likely they will get fucked over by hackers. most thing macs are virus-proof but they're not. once they become even more popular, they'll be the next windows pc imo.
 
Flash is a dead end though, it's worthless to invest anything into that technology. Too much bullshit that comes with it.
 
saw this coming for a while. Apple was holding so much fucking cash on hand it was suspicious.
