the name iPhone was registered by Cisco but might have been up in 2006, the next in line for it was supposedly a holding company for Apple.

if you follow apple you d notice their stock has been down because they are being sued by Cisco for that name.... Jobs will probably just rename the iPhone to the (Apple)Phone just like he had to do with iTV to (Apple)TV
