That is deff fast enough to edit, but a 17" laptop, defeats the purpose of a 'laptop', my dad has the 15" and that is almost too big. If your going that big you might as well get a desktop.
ya well the thing is i already have a desktop for all of my other shit this would just to bring on skiing trips no where else and my sister has a 17 and i like the size alot
but you also have to think about whats gonna happen to the laptop after its going to be used..if your transporting it in a laptop specific backpack, it might be too big.
not to mention if you ever want to use it for school or anything, a 17" is pretty big to lug around.
