what's everyone's opinion on one or the other, or both? what do you have right now and have you been happy with it? pluses and minuses for either...twould be rad to read some feedback cuz i have a dell laptop right now and i'm thinking about going all apple before school in the fall...thanks guys

No, apples blow, from my expireance with them. I have found them to be slow, freeze alot and not be compatible with any program. My friend has a Sony computer and he loves it, and I have a HP and its pretty sweet.

mac. i have a dual 1.25 ghz g4 and it kicks ass everything is better. and not compatible my ass i have microsoft office on it and windows media player. i moved everyhting from my shitty pc to the new mac and it all works great even dna custom. my dad has used mac since it came out. he has a 15 year old mac se that still runs perfectly and he never has had it freeze or crash or had to fix it ever.

 
i personally like pc's a lot more for everyday fucking around, but macs are a hell of a lot better for video editing

any of you mac users hear good things about the powerbooks?...i'm thinking about getting a 12 inch with 512 ram and a 60 gb harddrive...i need something that'll be mad portable and smooth running, something that will work well for school (college)...what do you think?
