Apple Macs (rant)

ahh what? okey the CAD companies liek autpocad haven't made a mac version yet ebacsue there hasn't been a big enough demand for autocad on mac yet ( as macs are more for artistic people then mathematicians and engineers...the image thing) however this is slwoling coming into play, and macs have both nivda and ati graphics cards so i don't knwo what the fuck your smoking.
 
i know that i didnt take the best care of it- i was just saying that with a lot of files anycomputer will run slow and crash alot..

i wasnt bashing on macs or windows
 
t-man, i agree with you for the most part. but in case you haven't figured it out, arguing with these people is never going to work (too many apple fanboys and stupid people). just be proud of the fact that you know better.
 
funny that most graphic arts firms and art schools use macs. and that feature films have been cut and edited in final cut pro. and that most pro photographers prefer macs.

so they must suck really bad.
 
what will you do when apple hardwear dual boots out of the box? It would be like finding a really sexy looking chick with the exact personality you like.
 
OSX pwns Windows. If you use OSX for more than a week you will agree. Windows is a chore to use. Exposé is amazing. iLife is amazing. Mail is amazing. Dashboard is amazing (you can get konfabulator or whatever on a PC but you have to install it yourself). Everything works how its supposed to. Force quit on mac actually quits the program where end task on a PC NEVER does.

I don't hate windows. Its just not nearly as easy to use or nice to use as OSX. Macs are overpriced but its worth it.

sorry but firefox is better then safari.

anyway, yeah i like my PC, i use it for gaming and my 3D animation software. but once i get a laptop it will be a mac (besides from looking all sleak and simple and stylish - they ARE really nice computers). but i'll still keep my PC for gaming and 3D work, and then i'll have my mac for...everything else.
 
hahahha just about anything else...that's because THEY AREN'T good for anything else besides the stock editing program and the decent music players...WOW i cant just get a really good program on a PC...I highly doubt your computer has never crashed, unless you have had it for like 2 days
 
One thing to say, if mac's are so incompetant...how come the G5 is not allowed to be exported to certain countries because of its capabilities.

But hey, answer me this one guys:

I have been on mac (second gen ones) and on PC. I like windows XP a lot, simply because i know how to work the thing. I've been on it for so long now that i know exactly how to fix it and make it do what i want. Whenever im on Mac OSX on my sister's iBook, im confused as to what to do because im not used to it.

It has alwyas been that windows is easier and cheaper for everyone, and that mac is for a bit higher end computer users.

if you are able to build your own computer, or have a gaming computer, do it, and windows will never fail you if you protect it well.

but so to my question: i have always thought and acepted that macs are far superior when it comes to laptops. All of my close friends that have a mac laptop for college don't have any complaints. And with boot camp, you have the best of both worlds. Am i wrong in thinking that apple laptops are far superior to PC laptops?
