dont know if you guys understand the amount of money apple makes but for a mega corporation this is tiddly winks for a donation.
 
Sure $100,000 isn't the entirety of apples annual profits, but for something that only applies to 3-4% of the population it's enough. Now if they only spent 100k on marijuana policy reform we could call them cheap. Instead we'll just label them fag sympathizers.

yeah this is like me donating 5 bucks but it's still pretty cool, i mean gay marriage doesn't keep me up at night but i feel like they should be allowed to marry eachother so i guess it's a nice move on apple's part

but seriously guys. it's not about how much money they gave. i'm sure they ran the figures and figured $100,000 to be an appropriate amount to help the people who this cause effects. it shows alot to have a large corporation like apple backing this issue, and if you're say they're being cheap, they really don't need like $10,000,000 to support this cause and apple would basically be wasting their money, rather than giving an appropriate amount that can and hopefully will be used in a effort to affect a change.
 
its just dumb to donate it to that shit when there are many more pressing problems around like how shitloads of children in Africa are starving every day, not to mention all the ethnic cleansing, don't get me wrong i think fags should be able to get married if they want to or not, but all apple cares about is the good press from this anyways, and darfur is old news so they say fuck all the people that are dying

the funny thing is and something that the apple elitists forget about is that apples track record when it comes to business ethics is more then questionable. 100,000 dollars is purely gimmick and a marketing investment. The amount of PR that apple is going to get is going to compound their 100,000 dollar donation several times over in profits just because left wing liberals eat this shit up.

100 000 is practically nothing to them. they should donate 100 000 to legalize pot in california...
