Apple-back to school sales?

I'm just throwing this out there but the chances of apple having a sale are slim to none. They aren't a sale type company. They just make sick shit and sell it for the same price for like 2 years with no price reduction whatsoever.
 
The prices arent going to decrease, but I think you can get a discount by plugging in your college
as well as a free ipod touch

if you're a university/college student u can get like $200 off any laptop purchase and a free ipod all you have to do is enter your student number

my father used my student number when he bought his macbook pro and saved some dough
 
yeah wait. y not get a free ipod? even if your still in high school you can get a student discount just bring in your student id and u get some skrill off. and if u donate an ipod (can be an old used one and does not have to work) through their recycle program you get 10% off any ipod or computer.
 
just got my macbook a couple of weeks ago and i couldn't be happier. it just works and thats what you want in a laptop. i definitely recommend buying one, you wont regret it.

if you already have an iPod then just get it now but if you want a free iPod its gonna be alot of work like filling out forms and shit but hell, its a free iPod
 
actually theres hardly any forms, its really easy
just after they ship it, go to apple.com/promos i think. and enter your username and password. and BAM!
 
This is a non biased opinion. I wouldnt buy one. Too much$$$ for a good model and the software you really need doesn't come with. Most people who own MACs have vista runnin in the background which beats the point of a MAC. Most people want a MAC just for the name and dont think if it will fit their needs. For example MAC air. About $2000 for a basic model which can just do the bare minimum of osx.
 
Ehh, F the haters. I got a Mac, not to be trendy, but because it was on sale, gave with a free Ipod Touch ($299 value) and Free HP printer/scanner/copier ($80 value). That is the college deal. The computer itself was $999 (down $100 from apple site and regular price). You'll have to buy Microsoft Office, but they sell it for $64 with the package. I looked around, talked to people there, and this was the best bang for my buck. F being trendy.

But yeah, that's the deal, so if you're into it, go for it.
