Apparently theres a school in spain called UVic that made a an incredibly gay lipdub to an incredibly gay song and some incredibly gay people at UVic canada were like hey we can make something way more gay than this and this is what they did

i dunno... they're having fun. it's not like they're doing it to be cool, they know they look like idiots. sometimes it's fun to make fun of yourself in a big group of people
 
haha i was thinking this exact same thing. I guess i was being a bit hasteful with my judgement and they did give alot of money to charity through this but its just way to "look at us"/ highschool musical for me to really get into it.
 
Dude UVic is chill...way to hate.
Lipdub isn't the greatest thing but to get that many people chillin and havin a good time makin a huge video is pretty sick, think about it.
Each to his own though, "haters gonna hate" and the more you hate where you go the more your time at university's gonna suck ass.

Also, looks like a bunch of hipsters at your school i lost count. Some pretty amazing stuff not going to hate to much seeing that they probably put a lot of time into it. Although i don't like the song choice.
 
I go to Uvic too and yeah lipdub was pretty stupid and kind of a waste of time. I didn't bother going but if it makes people more stoked on the school then I don't think its too bad..

i think i recognized people, but i didn't want to pause because i wanted to get through as fast as possible, but then i only made it to the beginning of rickroll.
 
The song choice was pretty gay, and there were a lot of overenthusiastic people (I recognized way too many of them), but UVic is sick. You're gonna get a bunch of keeners any university you go to. We don't even have to worry about frat bros either because there aren't any frats on campus. We're super chill and I love our campus. Love our relaxed vibe. No need for hating here.

And the other Uvic's dub was more impressive, but it was still kinda cool. OP, I don't see why you hate for people having fun. And your over-use of the term gay is making me question you.
 
Haha I knew somebody would call me on that. I was, then noticed all of my chill friends that were also starting it becoming closer and closer to the stereotypical frat image, then they broke some windows in the neighbourhood, hosted the grossest parties I've been to in my life, practically raped a couple girls, and I got the fuck out of there before I sunk to their level.
 
they choreographed it too quickly, the filmer walks too fast to actually consider it a lip-dub, it looks more like a thousand kids dancing and sometimes doing flips.
 
yeah we do, they are just not recognized by UVic. Pretty much they just have big parties and break a lot of shit. I think for the most part they are just guys who saw movies and decided to start it cause of that.

UVic is super chill. I love the people and the general vibe around here.

P.S. Totally unrelated, but who decided to make the library essentially one big open building? Like ever heard of walls/carpets? Pretty much this year the silent zone of the library has died.
