I saw Apolcolypto, by Mel Gibson, last night at my local theatre. I thought it was AMAZING. i would definatley reccomend this movie, even though it is in sub titles. I give Mel alot of respect for making such a great movie, and look forward to seeing one of his future productions. Def. buying it when it comes out.

If you are the type of person that likes alot of brutal action,"raw" footage...as in doesnt cut away when it gets gory, and are interested in some basic knowledge about Mayan culture/religon(as i am), then you will enjoy this movie very much.

even if you dont like the about subjects, this is one of the best if not THE best movies i have seen in a long time. Worth checking out for sure.

I SENCOND THAT!!!. I saw it twice, once with friends, once with my dad. EVERYONE i talked to that saw it said they loved it, the only thing that may scare some people away is the gore, but he presents it in a realistic manner, the way it was back then. Dont listen to people who say it sucks b/c its by mel gobsin and hes a crazy drunk, which he may or may not be. the point is he maked great movies, and this is a GREAT film. GO SEE IT!!!
 
tnx for the heads up.. i'll take your word... but if it is the greatest or one of the greatest you've seen then why 4 1/2 not 5?
 
if you think saving private ryan was gross, you better not see apocalypto, unless you like see a guy eating nuts. and not like cashews, like balls, juevos, testicles.
