Apocalypse Now

Yeah its probably my fav movie ever.

Saigon... shit. I'm still only in Saigon... Every time I think I'm gonna wake up back in the jungle. When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

Man he's soo bad ass.
 
Yes, definitely my favorite war movie ever. My tops are tied to close together for it to be absolute, but it's definitely up there. Do Lung Bridge scene is one of the greatest war scenes ever made and Coppola's use of The End is amazing and chilling. Such a sick flick, I could go on and on.
 
Such a good movie......it tells such a vivid story while still depciting a very appropriate and accurate view of the Vietnam war.

The incorporation of Joseph Conrad and Heart of Darkness is also really well done
 
The book it is based off of is an agonized read. I have never struggled so hard in my life. Great movie though.
 
Are you kidding me....Heart of Darkness is a great book, well written and very entertaining plus its not that long.

by the way, heart of darkness is awesome, and i think my favorite part of the movie is when the doors song the end comes in when hes killing kurtz, so intense
 
in the scence where the guy is slicing his hand in the dark he is actualy slicing his hand for real.. the movie hearts of darkness is about making the movie... alll the fuckin drugs in that movie is out of hand........ ...
