This fucking scares me. I saw some big documentry on discovery channel about how there are several signs of the earth ending on december 21, 2012. The mayan calander( for those of you who dont know it it is some calendar that is fucking accurate and has predictade solar eclipses and lunar eclipse thousands of year before they have happened) fucking ends on december 21, 2012. Also the " I CHING" Is chinas oldest text and is used for fortune tellign and they have these symbols that answer your questions(complicated, search iton googl) anyways they have a pattern of the earths time line and that also ends on december 21 2012, there have been countless prophets that have predicted in the 21st centurary that the world would end. This one prhpet or orcacle said something like "there will be metal birds(jets) and self propelled chariots that belched fire(tanks), there will be a graet earth quack that will shake the earth and send cities plunging into the water( tsunami), there will be fireballs raining from the heavens( nukes)" this isnt exactly what she said, but along the lines of it, that same person prodicted all thsi stuff liek the fall of the roman empire and some king constantine by name and, julius ceasars exact cause of death and stuff. On that december 21 2012 even scientists have predicted that the earth will line up with the sun wich is lined up with some black hole(thats what the I CHING and Mayans were saying). And allll the prophets they mentioned had something in common, they all said of rising waters, and lots of fireand war and the earth being covere in blood.i cant really explain the rest and i looked around on the internet to see if i could find the documentarys name but i cant. Maybe some of you saw it. Look at some stuff on youtube aswell.

This shit fucking scares me, if someone finds the documentry post it.

oh and im not trying to be some conspiracy, worlds coming to the end guy, im just saying you should wtch the documentry and videos. I have a feeling im goign to be hated on.........
 
well, if it happens, we've at least got 4 more years. I don't get the big deal, if the world ends, no one would be around to mourn the loss. I mean, sure the general idea of it sucks, but still. Then again, i don't really understand the big fear of death. In my opinion, if it happens, it happens. I'm happy with my life all the same.
 
the world has been predicted to end over 20 times already. its a crock of shit.

i swear, maybe i should be a salesman when i finish school. some of you kids are gullible and naive as hell. you'll consider any theory thats thrown at you.
 
ya i also thought of that the exact same way, i mean if i we die well were...dead, i mean your not going to mourn over your self and no else will be mourning because there dead. And if it will happenwell we cant really stop it.
 
i said that im not tring to be the " THE WORLDS COMING TO AN END!!!" person im just saying you should check out the thing. And i would have a right to be scared at it too. you cant say youve never been scared at somethign atleast similar to this.

And thats also true its been said all the time "the end is near" and has never happened, they also made that point in the documentry.

as far as im concerned, that would be baller as hell to die in the end of the world. i mean come on that would be sweet, plus everyone is gonna die so i wouldn't even care about anything. i would probably get naked and ski off the biggest cliff i could find. wordddddddddd
 
that show has been around for a while... i saw it in 6th grade, i was traumatized as well for two or three years, best thing for me was to turn to my religion (i know, corny, right?) but seriously that helped sooo much for me, i mean i was petrified, my sleep habits went all out of whack cuz i was too scared to sleep, i didnt eat right, and never mind the social problems...... i swear, it was all from that show too, i honestly think discovery channel make some great stuff, but thats just horrible, and they should be sued (i'm surprised noboy has yet)

I read most of the posts, not sure if this has been brought up but 2012 is more than likely just a symbol for the apocalypse.

listen man, im no sucker, but i was younger then, and idk how old this kid is, but it sounds like the same thing happened, read my earlier post

and to the guy that said "get on with it", again read the earlier post, this isnt a joke that program is littarlly traumatizing to anyone whos young and/or vulnerable to being scared shitless, of course it does provide so great room for personal growth, for instance i'm no longer afraid of dieing (or maybe im just stupid, idk), which sounds really corny, but its true, i just accept the fact that i could die from anything, and i move on, knowing that im capable of defending myself against a lot of things (ok, no "but what if there was SN1poRz in the streets" kinda gay-ass posts, i mean person to person, or from an accident outdoors or something)
 
From what i've read, the world is not going to end in 2012, but rather there is going to be a huge shift in energy throughout the world (shut up and keep your minds open). I believe (from what I remember) that it is a positive vs. negative energy shift and the outcome can go either way. If the negative energy prevails, then it could possibly be the "end of the world" like you say. But there is no way of knowing until the time arrives...
 
my friend has this crazy theory that tonight at midnight a 4 year war with zombies is going to start and the end of the war will be the end of the world
 
The world isn't going to end in 2012. Much the opposite is supposed to happen. The Mayan Calander is going to end, and I guess it predicts that the earth is supposed to go through a major energy shift. Supposedly the world will be a much better place than it is now, more positive energy and such.
 
^ what you say about the calander is true, but i heard we are going to loose gravitational pull with the sun and go into the next ice age because we float off and arent heated anymore.
 
i get pumped thinking about it in a way. Like if some fuckin crazy invasion went down or some shit, fight them off. Thatd be dope. They should def make a movie about a super gnarly dude fighting off apocalypse stuff after everyone is dead except a few. Create a new world afterwords in the rubble of the old..........

ever seen the show a haunting on discovery i think its a load kinda like this theory because how many times has the world been predicted to end and hasnt exactly what i mean

Ok, here is a great and logical way to think about this. Modern calender and time are pure THEORY. The do not in any way effect anything what so ever. It is just an authored way of keeping track of things. The fact that one can reset the year (0 AD for the J-MAN) and have people live by it shows you how time is nothing more that a invented measure and therefore can play NO EFFECT on reality.
 
bahahahaha yeah, thats what ill be doing, and could it be that the mayans just didnt bother to make their calander 400-500 years in advance? i know i wouldnt....
 
well some words of wisdom for this thread .

its useless to try and predict the end of the world because the only thing that can happen is that you look like a fool . if you were indeed right , no one is there to say good job you were right
 
well i was expecting computers to blow up, cell phones to go dead, and security gates everywhere to malfunction therefore releasing giraffes and savage beasts to roam the streets of cincinnati on Y2K. no such luck hombre
