Apartments can be made cheaper if 3 people share a 2 bedroom. Of course nobody should ever have to live with ductapeboy and icecreamsandwich. Umm.. I mean, I love you guys.

mine jsut has no windows in the living room. its weird. otherwise its fine, but when i think that next year im going to be living in an apartment with a windowless place to chill I want to tear up the lease and cry

fish tank? i can do that.... Ricky offered me some fish when i was over there... aparently they are fancy... like a couple hunderd dolars or something.... and i have a tank already... ill get it on the weekend.... weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

i hate apartments.

no yard. you can hear people in other apartments all around you. no pets allowed. you have to pay rent. theres never enough parking. often laundry is in the basement or something dumb like that. fuck they suck.

 
We don't have a yard but there's a balcony and we don't have to mow it. We have 3 birds and a rabbit. We're allowed pets, but legally even though places can tell you you're not allowed to have pets, they can't enforce it. Rent you have to pay for everywhere. Laundry is often in the basement of houses too. We have less parking troubles than my best friend who lives in a townhouse, plus we don't have to shovel.

Although I don't agree with your arguements, I too don't care much for apartments. They're small. Carrying groceries, or anything up is a bitch. BBQs are illegal (but only if you get caught). There's constant water shutoffs and other annoyances. Having to take the stairs when the elevator doesn't work is a bitch. When you live in a city though, apartments are MUCH cheaper, and when it comes down to it, that's why most people, myself included, live in an apartment.

My apartment is cool! Downtown, large, clean, bright. My bedroom had enough room to store my motorcycle for the winter. 2 couches in the living room, and it takes me 5min to walk to school.

 
im moving off campus next year and getting a place with my 2 roomates from last semester that are currently abroad...going to be in the fenway or kenmore area. sooo stoked for the fall.

yeah i hear ya- only option for most ppl in the city, i hate the city so i live in my parents basement in the sticks. i'd probably be more popular and have a hot social life if i lived in the city but i'd also be a lot further from the hill.
