well i moved into an apartment on august 22 i know its kind of a while ago, but there are some neighbours of mine that are either upstairs or right next door, probibly both, but they are always having loud sex. like just last night i was watching christmas with the crakns and then i watched war of the worlds, through both movies they were having sex... and the walls were banging, and the dishes in my cupboard were even rattleing, it is starting to get really annoying.. any one else have a problem like this living in an apartment if so how would you or did you slove it?

hahah shit that must really suck, but funny at the same time. and no i cant help you.

maybe complain to the ppl who own the building? i have no idea.

haha, if they can rattle your dishes its pretty funny, last year the douche bags that lived above us would get drunk and wrestle at like 3am every damn night, so my brother and I would go press thier 'buzzer thing' a bunch of times on the nights they wouldnt didnt make things any better but it made us feel good.

woops, so pick up a lady, push your bed against the wall and get some revenge.. or if you cant get a lady play some porn really loud.

Fuck man, I had an apartment the last two years before I moved to Whis and it was so fucking annoying. I was on the other end of it though, I had an asshole neighbor below me who would be pounding on the ceiling every 5 seconds at even the slightest noise, fuck he was a douche.

Basically my philosophy on apartment living (assuming your building is not soundproofed) is that you are going to hear your neighbors and they are going to hear you. There's really no way around this, it's just the way it is. Given that mentality it always REALLY pissed me off when people would pound on the wall or ceiling and shit when they heard me because I heard them all the time I merely chose to accept it.

I think apartment life on the whole would be a lot more enjoyable if people were more reasonable and accepting about this.

Let me make it clear that I am not trying to say that you are being unreasonable in being frustrated as I know full well that shit like that can be annoying (for a couple months I had a couple horny gay guys with seemingly excellent stamina above me and believe me that sucked ass). I will however say that it is the unfortunate truth that if you do opt to live in an apartment you will almost certainly hear your neighbors and they will almost certainly hear you.

I dont have that problem. Im the youngest person in my appartment building by about 40 years, at least i hope i never have that problem here.

the people above us vacum every day at the weirdest times like 2 am...and not just normal vacuming...but like using the carpet thing on the hardwood floors. Got used to it though. Theres also the nights that some random guy climbs off their balcony onto ours then hops into a waiting car. So we thinks shes cheating on her husband. Shes hot though so wouldnt surprise me.

at my friends apartment the people above would always stomp and make so much noise so we left them a really mean note .. and then they come down and its these two old people and we felt so bad!

and then the people below were crazy and always got drunk so we took our trash and dumped in our there deck .

next time your up late and hes not, get your soundsystem, put the subwoofer right up against the wall and turn the volume to max. turn you regular speakers off. then play some biggie.

my neighbour is like 30 years old and every signle thursday-sunday night, he plays really loud techno and has like 30 cars parked around his house, which then cars r parked in our driveway, and they don't stop, so when im trying to study i got these fucking loud annoying techno beats banging in my head

i had an apartment last sept-aug....and the first night i moved in ...there was a domestic in the apartment next door...the cops came and everything. so i thought...aww crap what kind of neighbourhood did i move into?...but since then it was fine the rest of the time i was living there.
