i've been staring at this political cartoon for the last half an hour, i have to analyze it for tomorrow, and i have no idea what it means, and yes i've googled it and haven't gotten ANYTHING. It's called the American Rattlesnake. does anyone remember/know wtf its point is? ++++ karma

well it probably has something to do with Benjamin Franklin's cartoon, the one with all the states as a broken snake type deal?

idk maybe we're united so dont fuck with us?

Ben Franklin's cartoon showed a snake cut into pieces representating how the original Colonies were splitting up. I have never seen this cartoon before but it may be about how the Colonies were together before the Civil War. I dunno, just a thought.
