I honestly loved writing the last one, I loved the abstract prompt

Ya i based my whole argument how you can't just teach creativity, the synthesis was my least favorite even though i felt really good about it, and the analysis was a gods gift to me, ethos, logos, and pathos sealed the deal

I did mine around how you cant grade creativity and how it demoralizes kids who don't get good "creative scores",

you ass, I went the other way.... but actually I didn't realize that every AP Language and Comp test had the same free response prompts. I felt pretty good about it. Somehow I worked in the negotiations of the Cuban Missile Crisis as an exaggerated example of creative solutions to big problems- the threat of human extinction.

you guys are all in so much trouble for discussing the questions, didn't you hear the lady tell you you're score will be terminated?

Anybody else taking physics b tomorrow? Thoughts?

I got you, i am fucked beyond belief. All i know right now is forces, kinematics, momentum, work, potential/kinetic energy and some optics.

Someone at my school who was taking the AP Bio test got to the essay section just said "haha nope!" and just left the testing room...

I thought it was really hard, but didn't have much trouble with the multiple choice or grid ins.

physics FUCKED me up today. damn.

My teacher never told our class that we didn't get a calculator or a formula sheet for the multiple choice section. He let us use both on every practice test we took. We all opened up the test and looked around at each other with fear on our faces. The free response section on the other hand was pretty easy.

Glad I am not taking apush

APUSH I think is way overhyped. In my school 10th graders take it, just as I did. Last year, I was only in an honors American History (no APUSH yet at my school) and 90% of the classes took it - I got a 4. didn't buy the book, didn't freakishly study or anything. I also knew a lot of american history BUT that's irrelevant.

but, did anyone take APHG today? FRQs were easy except for 1A... I forgot Rostow's model lel

Apush is considered one of the hardest ap's at my school, its up there with calc and physics. I think that is due to the fact that our teacher gives us two grades, tests and essays. So there are no fillers like homework or classwork, just big grades.

I wish kids in my school took it in 10th grade. Our school doesn't offer any APUSH, the 10th grade history course for everyone is US to 1900, and then junior year is 20th century world, so most people take it as a junior. I'm finishing 10th grade now, and wish I just kept reading the book until the end and took it this year. Would of make next year easier.

it is considered one of the hardest courses at my school too but our class was not graded like yours - it was done traditionally with homework, quizzes, tests, essays, etc. it remains one of the classes with the highest curves on it and yet, besides the metric fuckton of textbook reading, i found the curriculum rather simple. it's just memorization, really, and there is little critical thinking. i find a course like AP physics much more challenging (apples to oranges, i know, but that's not the point) because it's not just about what you know, it's about how you apply what you know.

i got a 5 on APUSH last year with minimal effort or studying. we'll see come august how i did in physics with the same routine.

took the apush exam. everything went pretty well, but i fucked up the second essay comparing jacksonian democrats and the whig party. what did everyone else think of it?

what was the other prompt? the one about puritans?

yeah, it was just how their work ethic helped to lay a strong groundwork for the early northern colonies

Bullshitted my way through those frq's, felt pretty confident with the dbq though. In my planning section I drew a fire breathing yeti burning my AP US exam.

took apush yesterday

The MC wasn't too bad but there were definitely some harder questions, but with the curve it's fine. The Reagan question was softball... "Social Economic and Foreign Policy" in the question, it was so cash. saved me.

That was my last one, stoked

Micro sucked! Macro was a piece of cake though

literally thought the exact opposite. breezed through both though, but felt I knew the micro material way better.
